This is a fabulous Royal Doulton Figurine Samantha in white dress HN3304. She is mint in box and measures approx 7.5" tall. This figurine is beautifully handmade and hand decorated in the Burslem potteries of England, with the Royal Albert 'MOSS ROSE' dinnerware pattern floral spray decals featured on her skirt. She is made from fine bone china and is of 'First' quality. This figurine was produced between 1990 and retired in 1996 and she is very rarely seen for sale. She is one of the prettiest figurines from Royal Doulton's range with her detailed wide skirt, the bodice highlighted with moss green color and her dreamy, delicate face. Great addition to your collection. Thanks!
Royal Doulton figurines are a valued collector's item and retired models are proving to be a great investment. A selection of Royal Albert's dinnerware patterns were featured on the Royal Doulton figurines designed in the 1980's / early 1990's and each figurine was released for a limited period of time (therefore in limited quantity). An extract from the Charlton Guide of 'Royal Doulton Figurines' states that "the HN Series of the last twenty years are basically short issued and are either holding or increasing in value." (Royal Doulton was/is the 'parent' company of Royal Albert, now incorporated into Waterford/Wedgwood).
